Prelude to the Cold Heart ( Assumption)
When addressing the Cold Heart
most approach with spurious intentions.
Gingerly they probe .
Gingerly they inquire.
The Cold Heart
cannot fathom such mutiny.
We are more surreptitious than we appear and
we are satisfied with the patronisim.
The Patronism will muddle the perception
with a boost to the ego:
Head high , eyes shining in superiority, to them , you are nothing but a troubled
being.
No anamaly.
No exception.
No innocence.
The Cold Heart is content to contradict the standard.
Meticulously they search for keywords that will reduce you to
a lable in a filing cabinet ; a generic definition
and
they must scruntinize to say that they have attempted to
to treat the nonexistant malady
because they are more
duty
than
calling.
They have provided me a hiding place.
They have failed to search deeper than skin and
words and funds and demographics and garb and speech
and stastics to understand the controversial mien
that defines her.
When addressing the Cold Heart,
approach with honest intentions.
There is nothing to be gained .
There is nothing to be relinquished.
The introduction was as empty as the
conclusion
but,
stronger than the
body.
Beat on.
