A Prelude to Fallen Petals
The Petals dance down from their anchoring branches
Lightly they float across Wind's face
Caotically graceful in the midst, they flutter out of place
No tree or flower can hold on to them
No matter how small, they leave and fall with freedom
Where they are no longer in the mother's grasp
It is the prelude to fallen Petals
Those drifting across the wind
