Presence

I'm not much of a poet,

but I do write things down a lot.

It starts with a phrase or two,

an idea, or a feeling,

a memory or just a thought.

With some practice I can bring you into it.

Mostly I write songs-

writing words is a little more tough.

But if I stick with it

and write through the writer's block

I'll describe where I am well enough.

And you'll be present there, too.
