The Present

This Christmas will have presents
But the gift I want the most
Is to have you in my presence
And for that I'd raise a toast

I wish you could be closer
But I know I'll see you soon
And we can fall in love all over
Cuddle close, all afternoon

I swear to give you all my love
When I see you, New Years Day
To show you that we'll rise above
And I will never walk away

I know right now theres distance
But come soon, we can lock eyes
We'll hug and kiss, and reminense
And talk about our lives

There is nothing I could say or do
That would prove this fact more true
Babe, the greatest gift that I could have
Would be to spend some time with you
