Present, Past, Future.....

Today I cried Yesterday I smiled with joy Tomorrow I sang. Today mother lied Yesterday I had a voice Tomorrow it rang. Today I'm lost, confused Hurt, and misused Afraid to speak for myself. Yesterday my soul filled with delight Imaginary strength brimmed with the mightiest of might Never struggling to reach the item on the top shelf. Tomorrow my wings soared high above the air As I sang a song about all good and fair Free from the battle we fight with ourselves.
