Pressure

Rain drops fall on the window pane Sunlight slithers down my cheek Almost nothing left to gain Just waiting for the week As days pass by the more I age Each lonely day I'm stuck in this cage Expression, freedom, life about love Beginning to see who I'll become Wanting to leave but knowing to stay Each day slowly fading away My time will come, it's off in the distance I'll get there one day with only insistence Just days until I leave this place I'll move softly and slowly and surely with grace Goodbyes and good lucks will sure to follow I'll keep my head up, and leave without sorrow
