Pressure
Why try to fight them?
They always win no matter what I do.
Telling me I’m going to fail at life, school, and collage.
They say “I give up!” but keep trying to help.
Can’t they see it’s useless? I’m a failure under all this pressure.
I might as well leave now.
Take a bus or a train and head up state where ‘dreams come true’
Perhaps I’ll go south forever, not just the winter.
No I’ll just miss home and break under all the pressure.
My memory won’t improve no matter how much I try to fit in there.
I play games; take vitamins, NOTHING IS WORKING!
My brain refuses to listen to the words I read it’s ready to explode!
I swear it’s going to become squished flat from all this pressure.
Focus, listen, understand, comprehend, and then I forget.
Forget, forget, and forget, why can’t I keep information in?
Why does it choose to leave me once I get it?
If my brain can’t take the pressure, am I going to be lost forever?
Help…please…before I fall to the pressure of my own burden in my head.
