Pressure

Pressure can be felt in many different ways

It can be the physical pressure

Crushing your lungs

Sucking all the oxygen out of you

Sealing your screams air-tight

Overtaking every sensation you’ve ever felt

And destroying it

Then, it slowly kills you

Shattering your skull

Squishing your eyes

Breaking your mind

That is physical pressure

But there’s also mental pressure

Peer pressure

And some people say that’s worse

The unshakeable feeling

You can’t think

You can barely breathe

But on the outside...

Well, on the outside you look okay

But you’re slowly dying inside

Rotting away from the inside

Pressure overtakes your every thought

Your every desire

Your every fundamental need

Pressure kills
