Pretend

i wish i was little

small not skinny

playing in mud

fighting with water guns

no war

no hate

no cares

boys have cooties

i wish i was tiny

young not frail

with flowers in my hair

grass on my knees

mommy loves me

daddy loves me

i love me

i want to play pretend

just once more

i want to feel again like there was so much more
