Pretend You Don't See

If you see my hands shaking

Ignore them

If my smile ever slips

Don’t comment

Pretend you don’t see

The imperfections

Let me be

Who I wish I really was

I can’t have you think I’m crazy

Too

I doubt myself enough

For all of us

If you didn’t believe

In my facade

I don’t think I could believe

In myself
