Pretty.

Hello my name is Nadia

I have a body of...

A model

Not the ones you see in magazines

I’m the one behind the scenes

People claim I’m beautiful

I believe that light

 Doesn’t shine that bright

I don’t think that’s right.

Family tells me all the time

But that’s because there family

I feel like all I’m good for is to make things rhyme

But it came to me today

When a boy came to say hey

 I said hi

But did not understand why

This boy wanted to talk to me

As he went on to talk

I began to walk

He said wait

All I had left was time to take

So as I stopped and turned around

He said hi my name is...

And all I heard in the background was my mother

Pretty girl she said...

Smile bigger. Big head...

My time was here and so was he

His final words were what’s your name?

You’re pretty.
