Pretty Bird

It was your wings,

And the beautiful song you sing

That captured my attention.

The way the sunlight glistened

in your eyes

It created a story that I could not escape

I was lost in it.

My soul meshed with yours

Because you were searching for

what I was

It was a connection I could not explain

Couldn't even anticipate

Tu olor

Tu risa

Era mia.

Pajarito. Mio.
