Pretty Picture
Dear Best friend,
Me and you use to be best friends
You were beautiful
With a bright personality
You use to make me feel better in a weird way
Because I knew you was going to always be there
But, that's until I realize that I was using you
Because I knew you were going to always be there for me
You were bright, thin, beautiful
And when you laid against my skin
Its like I can here music
The faster you went
The louder I can hear the music
Because the fact I knew you wasn't going to leave me is the reason I use you
Because I had fallen so hard
You was the only person I can depend on
We use to paint pretty pictures
But you were my brush
My arm was the canvas
My blood was paint
And as we paint these pictures it was like a sense of relief
From pain, anger and sorrow
But when I got back up from that dark place I realize I didn't need you
I didn't need you to paint my pretty pictures anymore
But its hard, sometimes I still look at you and wonder would
it hurt to paint a pretty picture one last time
Love, Your canvas
