Pretty White for a Black guy

"You're pretty White for a Black guy" is all I seem to hear when people get to know me.

Why? Is it because you can actually hear me as I annunciate clearly?

Or Is it because I lack an agressive tone when I speak?

Is it because I would rather be in a classroom than a rap video.

Maybe its because I would rather be a founder and CEO of a fortune 500 company,

whose goal is to better the world by my remarkable ideas, and not some athlete who

made it to this years superbowl.

Hello, My name is Devante Metoyer and I guess I am pretty white for a black guy
