Prevail
Weak child, was put to work in the yard and taught to work.
Broken teen, prevailed in school but not with mingling.
Driven young adult, was repeatedly denied but never stopped.
Now she keeps her loved ones close and finally received acceptance.
Without the ability to adapt, she would have been lost to the chaos of life.
The ability to adapt is something I could not live without.
With the ability to adapt, I can prevail in any crisis.
