We are always told that
The things we do are wrong
But how are we supposed to do right
When "right" is not clearly defined?
When it is discrete, hiding behind
Barrels
And bushes,
When our search for "right"
Is merely pushing us closer to
Criticism and
Broken hearts, to
Yelling and
Anger, to
Fear and
Hopelessness.
What are we supposed to do
When people ask us what we
Want to be
And then tell us
What not to be?
Oppression, misery, and hardship
Are all the same thing
And yet they feel
Undifferentiated
