Price

How wonderful it would be

To lose track of time with you

And just to be so emphatically free

And I follow you into the deep blue.

I follow you in my darkest dreams

And running fast I will reach the pyer

We burst through the doors and burst through the seams

Singing in the water, dancing in the fire.

I will soon have to pull my heart away

For we fell in love in the days of old

And with that love, there is a price to pay.

It is dark now, I feel terribly cold.

When love is lost and all turns into fear

I catch my breath only to choke again

And all we loved turned to sorrow my dear,

To you, across the sea, my love I’ll send.
