The Price of Change

From the life of old

People say "I miss you",

Sometimes concealing

How they can use you.

Trying to stay away

From those who had hurt me,

I couldn't say "No"

To what they gave me.

Now I have the power

To fight off these attacks,

He had died for me

I wish I could pay him back.

I forgave them for what they did

And am forgiven for what i did,

I am thankful for this new life

I am thankful for what he did.
