Price Tag

America,

Why do we have to put price tags on everything.

On websites we see them, the price tags, the dollar signs

Why do we do this? 

Price tags, are important during some instances. 

Why do we have them on things of necessities?

Water. Food. Warmth. Shelter. Education. 

In our society we are frowned upon for not getting a degree, not pursuing higher intellect

Yet, most colleges put students in debt so far, they are forced into bankruptcy at a young age. 

Why is it that, we are expected to spend thousands, to possible earn thousands.

College, is important to me. 

Art, is important to me.

Money, is not important to me. 

Sadly society makes it impossible to not care about money. 

Money runs our world. That makes me sad.
