Dear Diabetes,

Why must

This be me?

When will I

Be more,

More than you.

Stop being

More

Than me.

I'm dizzy,

Angry,

Groggy.

Yet,

You won't stop.

You won't stop

Destroying

My temple,

My permanent

Home.

You are

My nightmares,

My fear,

My exhaustion,

But

You created

Strength.

I am the warrior

Who will go on

And defeat you.

I am

not you.

You will

No longer

Be me.

Sincerly yours,

      Warrior
