Alone in the open The sounds of nature siege in What I once thought was reality, now escapes me And senses are triggered by a cool breeze Sensitivity. While rustling leaves speak through a microphone Rays of clouded sun seem to sing a song Awareness. My thoughts climb to the surface As my being seems to have no purpose There is no one to see And no one sees me Relief. But with the longing to explore Comes the conscienceness of safety's door Not knowing what could be found Leads my soul wandering around Mazement. A numb finger's touch Magnifies an object too much Making it seem as though it's new Only to find an usual object skewed Serenity...

I am an aspiring Interior Designer and will be studying at The Art Institute in Charleston come August of 2013. I show an interest in choir, arts, and many more things, but poetry is an escape and a way for me to cope with suppressed emotions.

In the moments of exploration you are in sync with your surroundings. There is a prickling touch to the experience. Open yourself up to it.
