The Pride

Listen to the music of our country Pride The adrenaline It starts with a kick Tick tock Tick tock We fight We pass We fall She runs She kicks The black and white. I save. Tick tock Tick tock A step Two steps Kick! Repeat! Black and white blurred. And back into my gloves again. I judge. I feel. I save. “Help me! The clock ticked!” Tick tock Tick tock A step Two steps Kick! Repeat! We run. We kick. We score. The clock stops. The silence of victory. Pride.
