Pride

"The male figure walks, chest up, grinning wide:

He has the whole world in one hand, and in the other hand, her pride."

"Boastful and charming he could do no wrong:

A brute, A coward was all she saw."

"Satisfied and bored he left her, no one knew where:

She stood paralyzed, dumbfounded, out of air."

"Crying, yelling she felt more alone than ever:

But she knew that this could not continue forever."

"Days-Weeks-Months went by when finally something cracked inside.."

"She began to walk,  chest up, grinning wide:

With her whole world in one hand, and in the other hand, her pride."
