Pride

I woke up to the cold air on my toes, the J's stolen off my feet

Shook it off and went to the bathroom, no water to brush my teeth

A sad scenario but for the better it can be changed

Yet people with an illogical disposition prevent me

This mentality causes them to resent me

The same mentality that causes a country to never change, is it not deranged?

This mindset being another contributor to why my people will remain in chains

I refuse to be non-brave

For if one adopts these morals, their digging their own grave

Now that I reflect…it may be the only thing keeping entire masses enslaved
