Pride
(poems go here) You’re entering the new year.
Put your hands on the wheel and steer.
Make sure you know what’s going on.
Because it hurts when you get things wrong.
Step out with your left foot first.
Now walk in reverse.
Take your steps with pride.
The road is a great ride.
Open up your heart and eyes.
Stretch and look at the morning skies.
Its time for the show.
Lets see how much you know.
We pushed our self’s to be better.
We are all go getters.
We came to be together.
Through the tough and through the weak.
Play with your heart and soul.
Look at us now, we’re on a roll!
Don’t stop if you trip.
Get up if your pants are ripped.
Moving forward gets you places.
We’re all in those phases.
Look up with pride in your eyes.
You know those judges will keep their lies.
No matter what they decide.
Together, we’ll always have our pride.
