Pride-breakers

Fri, 10/04/2013 - 01:02 -- a.lee1

Pride is poison

The degrading of

One's own soul

Breaking down defenses

And hollowing out our bones

Humbleness is searched for

And often not found

Have you seen it?

Hunted for it?

Some have, and they call themselves

Pride-breakers

Smashing the old virtues

Cultivating new ones

Burying and burning away

Pride,

The disease of the successful

Perhaps you have heard of the

Pride-breakers

Maybe you will one day

Join them

Be humble and brave,

Just and true,

Be a pride-breaker

And see how it changes you
