Prince

I close my eyes To go back to the night I danced with a stranger Lost in his eyes Somewhere far in nature In his arms, I felt timeless With his smile, I grew silent And ever since, He has been my prince My friend My first kiss He's made me laugh Had my back And given me memories I'll never forget Fixing his crown under the rain Saving my day, "I hate seeing you in pain" He's a prince in my eye, a stranger, I'll lie I open my eyes to an empty bed Tears kiss my cheeks As the thoughts rewind in my head
