Prince of Peace

Wings flared open, pearl white

Wide in the sky, glowing bright

Glistening there like a star

Awaiting here up afar

Golden ring above the form

A halo for an angel's norm

Singing a hymn of love and peace

Waiting for the war to cease

Its heartbeat of the purest sound

A rhythm for the human bound

Along with sobs for the human race

Shame and disgust written on its face

One last tear with a prayer said

Sorrowfully hanging its glorious head

"Forgive them for they know not of"

Cried Jesus engulfed with only love
