The Prince was Saved
Lost
Lost in a world filled with coins and riches
People wanting more from me
Expecting more
How can I live in a world where I feel like I don’t belong
Father told me I must marry
But marry who?
A girl I don’t know
A girl that my father thinks is “right for me”
A girl that only wants me for my fortune
Yeah, im lost
What about true love, what about my happy ever after
But I’m tired
Tired of always doing things they want me to do
Maybe if I end this miserable life I wouldn’t have to worry about who I marry
Or worry about becoming king
My only escape is my boat, maybe then I will be lost at sea without a care in the world
Maybe then I will finally be free
The ocean looks beautiful
Peaceful
Something I’ve longing for a long time
One jump and the water that looked peaceful is pressing against my lungs
Instead of air I am getting water
I don’t struggle, I don’t flinch
I feel emptiness
and just when I thought everything was over
There she was
A beautiful girl with ruby hair with an exceptional voice
A voice that is in my head till this very day
She was a beauty
One that made me forget about my emptiness
Made me forget about responsibilities and titles
The one that saved me when I didn’t think I could be saved
This
This is what true love felt like
She gave me hope
A hope that made me a stronger man each day
A man that can finally become a king
And now married to a girl of my dreams I no longer feel empty
I no longer doubt myself
I am no longer lost
And all because of Ariel.
