Princess

I'm not a princess to be pampered, put on a pedestal, or lavished with presents. I'm a lioness with pride and a temper that can't be tamed. Yet you cage me, you leash me, you put me on display! My passion burns through in a rage. I fight, I claw, I destroy that dreaded cage. You hold me, you soothe me, you pick up the mess. You'll learn. I'm a different kind of princess.

Hi! My name is Samantha. I am studying Latin and English, with an aim to teach them at the high school level. I am very close to my (very large) family and they inspire much of what I write, especially my mother who passed away a few years ago when I was seventeen. However, my various struggles through life have also influenced my writing and made me who I am now.
