Princess Holly in the epitome of America

In a country where abnormality is the new normality lies Holly

Abnormal and queer in an unaccepting society

Now Holly is no princess, but what better way to describe her

Holly hails from a fancy family from Beverly Hills

Expensive cars, big mansions, parties every weekend and shopping sprees every day was normal

Normal until Holly was kicked out her affluent lifestyle

Normal until Holly realized she was attracted to girls

Normal until Holly, blonde, white and gorgeous fell for Jazmin, curly haired, black and bruised

Jazmin met Holly when she entered her Taxi and asked for a 'ride to doom'

"Ride to doom?"

"My life is a mess"

"Try being a black lesbian in America. If I'm not being attacked from the cops it's my own friends"

"Actually, I'll just get a ride to the nearest hotel"

The nearest hotel is where they met

Where Jazmin offered Holly a drink

A bar where they talked, laughed, and even kissed

Holly fell hard ...

Next thing she knew, she's 'woke' and fighting for the rights she believed her girlfriend deserved

Fighting for equality for both queers and minorities

Fighting for abnormality and praying for acceptance

Holly was so involved she forgot about her previous lifestyle

Bussing tables by day, loving by night and advocating in between

Like all perfect fairytales, they both lived happily ever after

Except... perfect endings don't happen in America

While fighting for the rights of her girlfriend and her fellow queers

Holly was gunned down by fully armed police officers after she shouted "No justice, No peace"

Luckily for Holly, she died a hero

For that, she is a princess

A brave young woman, willing to get her dainty feet dirty for something she believed in

For that, the fight for a society accepting of the abnormal and queer is never ending
