Princess Power

So I’m a princess sitting in my tower

Waiting for my prince to come hour by hour.

It’s time to stop this waiting game if you know what I mean

No time for this nonsense or nothing in between.

My prince might come, but I have no time for this fuss

That’s why I checked the internet for Ladder R Us.

Out of this tower, onto something new

The lady’s in charge and she knows what to do.

I might be a princess, I might wear a crown

But girls got her feet plant firmly on the ground.

I don’t need a prince to define who I’ll be

I have the best place to start, I am proud to be me.

I don’t wear the title of Princess Snow

I prefer to be called Lady CEO.

I say this with pride- not trying to mean

The King is dead

Long live the Queen.
