Prison of my Heart

The prison of my Heart, it keeps me bound.

The cycle repeats , Love and Loss.

I hold so tight, out of fear, that I cause my nightmare.

I lose again, the light of life, as her flame of love is extinguished.

Another angel leaves, the door locked, I alone in the dark deep, shiver.

Every round I hope to finally obtain, a liberating bonding.

The prison of my Heart, it keeps me bound.

Where all others cannot enter, though I beg through the bars.

I cannot escape, cannot have.

Dreams are my bars, expectations my walls.

The prison of my heart has no key.

For who I have lost, none can replace.
