The prize

Micah 7:8

Jerusalem Will Be Vindicated

8 My enemies, do not gloat over me!
Though I have fallen, I will get up.
Though I sit in darkness, the Lord will be my light.

 The price

“Focus of attention” … shine your light on me

I am here struggling to get to the center

Help me to move from the ones who shouldn’t be

To the place where I hunger myself to enter

The price for admiration should be paid by you

All you have to give me is your mind incomplete

I will guide and tell you exactly what to do

As you look up to me in your own defeat

You and I will make a team … master, slave and bubo

We will dance around the world on a floor of glass

Others soon will join us for most enjoy the lotto

Gambling away their freedom trying to forget their past

Face the day oh darkness … you’ll be surely swallowed

To return for a little while for you can’t be kept down

Half of the time you rule your subjects to wallop

To their neck in the mire that you hide in every town

Now your habitation is in the hearts of man

The sun never rises in the place you have prepared

Who can remove you now and tell me when

It seems that your influence seldom gets declared
