Procrastination

Location

Staring down at my book,

I start to fall asleep

One glance of my homework was all it took

Into a daydream, I feel deep.

With two Euro essays to go

I open up my Google Chrome

I wish homework didn’t exist

As I quickly pulled out my phone.

With so many texts and chats

There was no way I could stop

Spinning around on the chair where I sat

I thought about the places where I could shop

I log onto my Instagram

Check out my new likes

The clock strikes ten

Still haven't done anything, yikes!

Why all this work

I thought to myself, feeling sad

Maybe if I had started earlier,

It wouldn't be so bad.
