Procrastination

*PROCRASTINATION* In a simple twinkle of an eye, the time murderer stalks again As the seconds, minutes, hours, days and weeks continues to drain Its wildness in consumption, we find hard to tame Procrastination is its name We freely allow it rule our minds for no particularly definite reason With a regime that demands all potentials caged in prison Just like a trapped bird longing to fly Soon, the doleful restraint let the enthusiastic morale die. Why can't this universal currency destroyer be executed? When deep down, its personality is gravely persecuted Why can't this destiny delayer be banished from our minds? Without leaving any of its disastrous trace behind I'm like, "I wanna do this" and then "oh I'm feeling kinda dizzy" maybe tomorrow But throughout the whole month, tomorrow never shows up. Sometimes, we purpose in our heart a leap into an enviable enthronement But this delayer doesn't make it come to fulfilment Our dreams will forever remain dreams If we don't put to action our planned schemes Fighting fervently against the time murderer And equally putting all aspects of our lives in order. Procrastination the thief of time has to be arrested. The earlier, the better
