Procrastination

After a long day of school

and trying my best

I get home where it is nice and cool

and try to get some rest.

I went to the kitchen to grab a snack

and start on my homework.

My progress was slow and barely made a crack

and my mind is going berserk.

I've decided to give myself a break

and go have some fun.

It was too late before I realized my mistake

I had forgotten there was work to be done.

I rush to finish my assignments in frustration

I've done it again, procrastination.
