Procrastination

You smile and holler, you’re feeling so great!

You’re essay that you did last night was sleek!

But never again will you ever wait!

You’ll work on your projects for the whole week.

You’re ready to go! You’re so pumped to start!

You’re taking your seat, with intentions good,

But a text message comes from your sweet heart,

And you’re on queue as a sweet boyfriend should.

It starts with later and turns to never,

The days beginning to turn into weeks.

With all your friends, you enjoy good weather,

Until the clouds of despair make you shriek.

Pulling all nighters to make it shine.

It’s so perfect!  And the cycle repeats….
