My, oh my, what a day!

A day indeed cannot be delayed.

What is a day that contains no dismay?

I say, a day, indeed, it ceases to portray.

But suit your fancy, be my guest,

Dawdle in the dint of the hours--

And leave your minutes to the clock towers.
