The Progress of Man

Yesterday I made progress Jesus
The straight face had finally cracked
Cracked a smile
You should have seen me
As those walls came coming down
I’ve been crack crack cracking away
For days, weeks, months
Maybe I didn’t have all the right tools
When I least expect it
The walls crack then came falling down
Yesterday I made progress Jesus

Yesterday I made progress Jesus
The sun shined in and released me from Satan’s dark hold
Sunlight shed on my face
Made Progress yesterday I hope you happy
Hope you be glade
Made progress Jesus…
Now the devil can’t be mad

Yesterday I made progress Jesus
Made progress yesterday
Because “yesterday”, she didn’t look so mad
Yesterday she didn’t look so mad
Yesterday I made progress Jesus
Made progress Jesus…
We DID IT BABiee!!!
“One small step for a Giant One big leap for a Man”
