Progression

I once wanted to die

without a word left from me.

Nothing to show the world, nothing to see.

And then I wanted to last

and suffer through hate.

Show everyone the harsh words that I ate.

I wanted next to be free

with light and tricks up my sleeves.

Creeping and crawling, ever so nicely.

Then I wanted to stay

and prove myself wrong.

Show all the world that it's okay after all.
