Project Metamorphosis

I have emerged into who I deserve to be.

To say it is like stepping into true shoes of self would not honor

this metamorphosis.

From a cocoon of self-shame, disdain, confusing misery did I emerge,

from sterility and darkness did I step into

this

blinding radiance and Oh!

What a wonder it is.

Now to recollect the violation of my shattered soul,

the discoloration of my once whitened spirit,

and the misplacing of my heart,

invigorates, but, does not infuriate me.

What a quest it was to come to my restoration.

Could you understand thus, my extreme transfiguration?

How like glimmering gossamer do colored wings stretch out from my standing shoulders.

Watch as my shakiran hips make figure eight’s to off-beat rhythms.

From me there will be great beauty in unexpected tracers

My dimples will be the wells from which mana flows.

Though soft I seem,

Beware,

I have emerged gladiator!

Witness me!

For with my true-ness I will break the cage of false expectation

and free us from the slavery of mundane fear of sin!

The backwards powers will shrivel beneath my out stretched palm.

Liberation will be a celebration with bountiful libation.

Can you see it?

Where once I was void of voice and body

I have found self

here

at the humble bottom of inkwell and page.

Follow me!

For I have the road map there.

There is a highway paved to heaven for us

Laid before me by my brothers and sisters of out-cast-ery

For this a not my end of self but a beginning of all I am.

Ready am I for new magic and prestidigitation,

for it will be a thing of art!

This project of self-discovery,

following my self-recovery.
