Prom Frenzie

diamonds, lace, pearls, and bowties galore

high heels, boutonnieres and red lipstick

this is a sight that I truly adore

dressed up dudes with their cute dolled up chick

this is the day we have all been waiting for

a night like this will be hard to forget

hundreds were spent so we pray its not a bore

getting down on the dance floo breaking a sweat

slow dancing with dates under twinkling lights

party bus hypes us for fun ahead

happily knowing this is the best of nights

the next week at school is what we dread

pictures on pictures of smiling faces

in one month we'll all be going different places
