Promesas Incumplidas

Dear my old love,

You said you’d never be the one to flee.

You said you’d never let anyone hurt me.

You said you’d never break a promise.

You said you’d destroy my every weakness.

Little did I know,

I’d be the one to let go.

You were left broken with nowhere to turn,

but you felt it wasn’t anyone's concern.

Tear after tear,

it's finally clear.

That my reason to stay

had finally slipped away.

Roses are red, violets are blue.

I know this cliché but I really believed it was you.

I could say that I never loved you but it would be a lie.J

ust like saying it's easy to say goodbye.
