Promise

I cannot promise you that I will never die

I cannot promise that there will never be goodbye

I cannot promise that I will be there if you fall from the sky

I cannot promise you that you will never cry

I know when people are in love they make promises

Promises that one can never keep

So I will not make those kinds of promises

so instead I will make promises I can keep

I promise that I will love you forever

I promise that you I will always remember

I promise that as long as im here there is nothing to fear

I promise that one thing is clear

that with you my life is full of cheer
