A Promise

A promise, to my self, I make this very day.
That I am and always will be the very same way.
I will not be average.
I will color outside the lines.
I will stay a believer.
And let my inner self shine.
I am a survivor.
I am so strong.
The type of person that's right even when I'm wrong.
I am the future, present, and past.
Leaving my legendary mark, that will forever last.
A promise now, a promise forever.
I will remain smart, intelligent, and clever.
I will be different.
I will be an outsider.
I will be complex.
I will be a fighter.
I will not obey the commands of the society.
I believe there should always and forever be a verity.
A promise now, a promise forever.
I'll never break my promise.
I'll cherish it forever. .
