promise me

I am making a promise

A promise to myself

To allow myself to be happy

You ink yourself with my name

And on our special day

I shall do the same

To mark those words

You repeatedly say

That you’ll love me

Till the day you die

That you will love me

“Forever and always”

That's what we have been

Since the day we met

Forever and always
