Promises
Somehow, he fell in my way and gracefully disturbed my path,
And an adventure awakened when he took a step to me.
I slipped on a drop of passion,
And from there grew something extraordinary.
He is picture perfect love humming in my future.
Together now, we will sing a little melody that consists of who we are.
I will be his broken little barbie,
And he will be my rusty cowboy doll.
A tornado of thoughts will blow away the doubt that may storm our way.
In the end, I know he will still be clutching my pinky,
Keeping the promises we make on our wedding day.
