Promises

you ask me if I'm okay

and all I can say is "as long as you are"

and "what's wrong?"

"nothing as long as I have you"

it's true.

We are reflections of each other,

if one of us isn't okay, what about the other?

it's not unhealthy to be this way

in fact

it's love

That's how you know

It's love.

I want so badly to know everything that goes on in your mind,

to be strong for you if you're feeling weak,

to give you hope if you're feeling hopeless

to motivate you when you're feeling not so great

to ease your nerves and your fears

to make you want to wake up every morning when you don't even feel like breathing

to help you find the will to live.

because life is beautiful

and I am a firm believer that you need bad times to appreciate the good ones a little bit more

I promise to give you my all, and show you love that you have been missing from,

because of your life before I knew everything about you,

and now that I know everything you went through

you have no idea how much I wish I was there for you more

When you needed it most

but we were brought into each other's lives

at the right time,

I believe.

To save each other.

And I promise to save you. Because I love you.
