Promises
God didn't promise that once we become a follower of Jesus, life would be all sunshine and rainbows.
God didn't promise days without pain and tears.
He didn't promise days without rain, laughter without sorrow, but God does promise light for the way, comfort when times are rough, hope for the hurting, mercy for the lost, grace in the time of need.
God does promise to be there when we stumble.
God does promise that one day there will be no more sorrow, pain, tears, and fear.
God does promise that He will one day transform our lowly bodies to be more like His glorious and holy body.
To God be all the glory and all the praise and all the honor forever and ever!
